He and his cadre of fools and nihilists are staying awake 24/7 to try to figure out how to spin this and how to gain as much ground as possible. That is true: What Schumer said last time to convince Dems to save the Government still applies, and Trump WILL take advantage of the shutdown to kill any 'progressive' program he doesn't like, fire any Democrat, take revenge on blue states, and on and on.

They did not invite Democrats to debate so the Big Ugly bill IS THEIRS ENTIRELY, and so is the misery resulting from it. All of it.
Also, they left DC but Democrats stayed to negotiate. That doesn't sound like they wanted to avert a shutdown!
Also, they refused to install Adelite Grijalva because hers would be the 218th vote needed to demand all of the Epstein files. (What are they hiding?)
My advice is get ready because this is going to sting. It will last a very long time. My request to them is that since they can have constant access to a real medical Doctor in the basement in DC, so should we have access to Healthcare. since workers will not be paid, they should not be paid either.
(Try to lower any debt you might have, grow a garden, do some canning, start clipping coupons, try to not go out as much, do all you can to save money) Contact your Mocs, especially your Republican ones, and point the facts above to them.
